Wir treffen Max in Berlin in einem Restaurant in den Hacksche Höfe. Von Beginn an haben wir nicht das Gefühl ihn das erste Mal zu treffen. Entspannt und vertraut. Klar leiten wir oft eine Beziehung ab, da er uns ja schliesslich in unserem Zuhause die Welt so oft erklärt hat. War es nicht gerade gestern, dass wir ihn in diesem Krimi gesehen haben? Muss er deshalb auch uns kennen? Er sieht gut aus. Ein junger, starker Mann, bewusst und selbstbewusst. Er spricht über seinen Beruf als Beruf und als Handwerk, hat Bezug zu seinen Wurzeln. Er könnte auch unser Kumpel sein, den wir hier auf einen Kaffee treffen. Es herrscht irgendwie ein Vertrauen. Liegt vielleicht auch daran, dass sein Agent ein Fan von unseren Portraits ist. Das spornt schonmal an. Das erste Motiv machen wir gleich an dem Tisch an dem wir sitzen. Mitten im Restaurant, kein Problem. Dann geht er mit uns in das benachbarte Kino. Man kennt ihn, er sagt an, dass wir ein Foto machen würden, natürlich kein Problem. Er bleibt locker, bietet ganz offen verschiedene Ausdrücke an. Ja, er hat auch immer irgendetwas von seinen Figuren, und bringt das doch ganz selbstverständlich und kontrolliert ein. Ein Guter eben und wahrhaftig.

Max in Berlin, we met at a restaurant in the Hacksche Höfe. From the very beginning, we have not felt to meet him the first time. Familiar and relaxed. Sure we often tend to create a relationship, because so often he has explained the world to us in our privacy. Was it not just yesterday that we have seen him it in this crime show? But does he have to know us? He looked good. A young, strong man, aware and self-assured. He talked about his profession as a profession and a craft, is linked to his roots. It could be also our pal, we meet here for a coffee. There was somehow a confidence. Perhaps because his agent is a fan of our portraits. That inspired to move on. We made the first motive right at the table where were sitting. Located in the middle of the restaurant, no problem. Then, he took us to the neighboring movie theater. They knew him, he announced that we would make a photo, no problem. He remained loose, offered quite frankly different expressions. Yes, he has also always something of his characters, and brought that in completely natural and controlled. A good one and so real.
